Quang was trained as a medical doctor in Saigon, Vietnam. He later studied at the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Vietnam.After arriving to the United States, he studied at Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City where he received a Master of Science in Acupuncture in 2005.
Monica received her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) at the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine. She is trained in traditional Chinese acupuncture, Japanese acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese nutritional therapy, Auricular (ear) acupuncture, Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), Qi Gong (movement therapy), and detox acupuncture for the treatment of addictions. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Monica received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Texas Woman’s University.
